GUELPH, ON—April 19, 2022—Veterinary solutions leader LifeLearn Animal Health is happy to announce ClientEd, the pet health education library that supports efficient client education for veterinary practices, has been integrated with DaySmart Vet cloud-based veterinary practice management software.
“We couldn’t be happier for the opportunity to join forces with DaySmart Vet,” said Mark Stephenson, DVM and LifeLearn’s Chief Veterinary Officer. “Since our beginnings in 1994, our focus has been on providing veterinary teams with the best tools to improve the health of patients while saving staff time and improving practice efficiency. DaySmart Vet shares this focus. Making it simple and easy for veterinary teams to access ClientEd handouts through DaySmart Vet is further reflection of our commitment to provide education and efficiency solutions to the veterinary profession.”
The integration enables DaySmart Vet users to search ClientEd’s library of 2,100+ pet health handouts, the majority of which are dog and cat medical, surgical and behavior topics, plus:
- 250+ pet medication handouts (with new handouts added as novel drugs come to market), which help practices in states like California comply with consultation requirements as mandated by law.
- 170+ Spanish handouts. (22 million pet owners in the U.S. are Hispanic, and 61% of the U.S. population is bilingual English/Spanish.) Unlike many veterinary handouts that can cause confusion for pet owners with information that’s too long and technical, ClientEd handouts are written by animal health and communication experts in jargon-free language that pet owners can easily understand, which improves compliance. ClientEd handouts also come with relevant images or medical illustrations to further increase understanding.
As a complete client education solution, ClientEd further distinguishes itself from other pet health resources by its seamless integration into practice workflows and customization. Practices can tailor existing handout content, create their own handouts, add patient-specific doctor’s notes, and customize handouts with practice logos, whether provided digitally or on paper. ClientEd can also be integrated into any veterinary website, providing an online on-demand source of pet health information.
“Detailed yet easy to understand pet health information improves health outcomes and builds trust,” said Jeff Ulrich, Vice President of Operations at DaySmart Vet. “The integration with ClientEd provides our customers with easy access to a set of valuable tools that will enable veterinary teams to more efficiently manage and grow their practice.”
